Eat, Drink and Play at the Grand Opening of Dave & Buster's in Farmingdale
D&B's will also debut a new logo, new games and equipment upgrades while giving those in attendance a chance to meet Hall of Fame star athletes. From noon to 3:00 p.m., NHL Hall of Famer and New York Islander, Bryan Trottier; former New York Mets star, Ed Kranepool; and former New York Yankees shortstop, Phil Linz will play waiter for the day. After the ribbon cutting at 1:30 p.m., they will announce the "Ultimate Sports Day" prize package, a trip for two including travel, accommodations, and tickets to Super Bowl XL in Detroit on February 5, 2006.
In addition to celebrating, Dave & Buster's plans to give back. Their celebrity bartenders will serve up creative cocktails from 5:00 - 7:00 p.m. D&B's will match their tips and donate the proceeds to America's Second Harvest, the nation's largest hunger-relief organization, distributing surplus food to more than 23 million hungry Americans each year.
All guests will receive a $10 card good for that day with a special $10 bounce-back offer good for their next visit.
