Heidi Bressler: The Apprentice Season 1 Contestant
by Derek Grosso
Where are you located right now and what are you working on?
I am currently in NYC and Philadelphia. I split my time, but NYC is my home and truly is the only city I love! I have had numerous appearances on VH-1 and CNN. I also just got my real estate license. My goal is not to work for Trump but to be his competitor.
Please tell us about the new calendar you are involved with and when it will be available.
Twelve of the women just finished shooting a calendar called "Fired Up and Giving Back." This calendar is about brains and beauty, and all profits are being donated to help the victims of Hurricane Katrina. Even Donald Trump is contributing to the cause! It will be out in Fall of 2005.
If you had been hired as The Apprentice, how would that have made your life different?
I don't think I would want to have won. Bill was a great choice and is doing an amazing job.
What do you think of Omarosa's successes, even though you were the one whose side everyone was on throughout the season?
Omarosa is... Omarosa, but at the end of the day, she is not so bad. I got along with her during "Battle of the Network Reality Stars," and to be honest, I see a change in her. I don't think she even liked being the most hated reality woman. Would I be her best friend? No. But I do know how to get along with her.
Where do you like to go for fun in New York? On Long Island?
I love the nightlife. Marquee is the best and I love the food at Ciprianis. I love New York. It is the only city I never get a speeding ticket. I love the Hamptons. I love the Yankees and just New Yorkers in general. I have friends from Long Island because I went to Ithaca for undergrad and American for graduate school.
