Anthology of American Folk Music Concert with The American Primitive String Band

Conceived and created by three of Long Island's top folk musicians; Kenny Holly (guitar and vocals), Ken Korb (harmonica, tin whistle, jug, washboard, mandolin and vocals) and Dee Harris (slide guitar, banjo, mandolin, washboard, kazoo, dulcimer and vocals), the idea for this concert was inspired by one of the most influential releases in the history of recorded sound, namely the legendary compilation recording entitled "The Anthology of American Folk Music" released by Folkways Records in 1952 and edited by noted musicologist Harry Smith.
