The First Annual Long Island Dodgeball Challenge takes place this Saturday, December 4 at 9:00am on the campus of St. Joseph's College in Patchogue and the C.W. Post campus in Greenvale. NINTH ANNUAL CHARLES DICKENS FESTIVAL

HOLIDAY TREE LIGHTINGS
Here are some of the tree lighting ceremonies on Long Island this weekend:
The eighth annual Holiday Tree Lighting Ceremony at Bayard Cutting Arboretum State Park in Great River will take place Friday, December 3 from 5:30 - 7:30pm. Santa Claus will arrive in his red sleigh escorted by the Great River Fire Department. Hot beverages and refreshments will be served. Please bring canned food items for the needy.
Orient Beach State Park will host its 17th annual Holiday Tree Lighting Ceremony at 6:30pm on Friday, December 3. Santa Claus will arrive along with the Orient Fire Department. Hot chocolate, cookies and hot dogs will be served. Help by donating canned food items.

Westbury House at Old Westbury Gardens hosts its First Night Tree Lighting on Saturday, December 4 from 7 - 9pm.
