Greenlight in the News
From Long Island Business News, December 24-30, 2004.
Online Greenlight tells Islanders where to go
What do you get when you cross a magazine and a Web log?
At least one answer is Greenlight Long Island Magazine (www.longislandmag.com).
Launched by Derek Grosso, a 2001 graduate of George Washington University, Greenlight Long Island and its siblings, Greenlight Washington and Greenlight New York, offer restaurant and entertainment listings, as well as brief news items, feature stories and interviews.
Greenlight Long Island Magazine, however, will face plenty of competition from the likes of the online and print versions of Newsday and the Long Island Press as well as local listings from global portals like Yahoo and America Online.
